The photo series "Ivory Carrier" has a photo from the German colonial period as a template.
In this black and white photo, four black workers present a large elephant tusk in front of a colonial building.
This photo is reproduced in the “Elfenbeinträger” series, but the building is a museum (mostly with the appearance of colonial architecture), the tusk is a sculpture and the bearer (presenter) is a person from the cultural scene.

The photo series started in 2016 in front of the Altes Museum, Berlin and the Altes Nationalgalerie, Berlin and was continued in the summer with the Fridericianum, Kassel.
